Présentation

Scientifique dans l’âme, Félix Camirand Lemyre se spécialise en statistiques méthodologiques. Ses travaux s’appliquent en sciences biomédicales et judiciaires. En statistiques, il s’intéresse aux problèmes d’inférence en présence de données imprécises, à la quantification de l’incertitude et à la modélisation de la dépendance. En toxicologie judiciaire, il collabore avec Brigitte Desharnais, du Laboratoire de sciences judiciaires et de médecine légale de Montréal, pour perfectionner l’analyse de données issues d’instruments d’analyse d’échantillons sanguins. Au sein de cette équipe, trois de ses étudiants ont contribué à mieux cerner l’ampleur de la crise des opioïdes au Québec. Au Centre de recherche du CHUS, il est chercheur régulier et responsable scientifique du service de biostatistique de l’Unité de recherche clinique et d’épidémiologie.
